Built by Sea Ray in 1990, this vessel is known as a Sundancer 310, and is 37' long with a 12' beam. Propelled by 2 Mercruiser V8 engines, she was completely renovated, and refitted with state-of-the-art safety and mechanical equipment in 2021.TC Commercial Registration C30580ON

With ample free parking nearby, getting to our marina is a breeze, allowing you to embark on our yachts with ease and convenience.

STORY
We're based in Ottawa, Ontario - canada's national capital. We are the first & only company in ottawa to offer private yacht charters & public yacht tours on the River. We are a proud & hard-working Canadian locally owned & operated business.
Late summer 2020 — Our story started when friends, looking for something to do outside — everything had been shut down for months due to Covid, reached out and asked if they could come aboard with family. They wanted to escape what was going on, and experience something positive, on a yacht, on the water, under the sun, with music, and each other.
Fall 2020 — Ottawa Yacht Tours (OYT) was born.
Summer 2021 — After months of tremendous hard work to install new equipment, upgrade systems, and obtain a naval engineer's certification, The Dolce far niente successfully passed a Transport Canada Marine Safety Inspector's technical review, and earned the lauded Blue Decal, certifying the yacht was fully compliant with safety regulations.
We are the first & only yacht tour operator on the Ottawa river to earn this Transport Canada stamp of approval to legally & safely operate a small non-pleasure craft commercially on the Ottawa River.
August 10, 2021 — Our first official, commercial tour took place, and by month's end, we had 35 sold-out tours with hundreds of passengers.
September 2021 — Ottawa Yacht Tours acquired a second yacht, named her The Everly, and one became two; a fleet was born.
October 2021 — The Ottawa Tourism Board of Directors voted to accept OYT as a new member, as did the Tourisme Outaouais Board of Directors. OYT also became a member of the Passenger and Commercial Vessel Association.
October 2021 — We partnered with FareHarbor to deliver a state-of-the-art and robust booking platform across the web so future OYT passengers can easily reserve tours online.
Winter 2022 — The Everly underwent extensive upgrades and renovations to be fit for commercial tours in summer 2022.
Summer 2022 — The NCC agreed to let OYT use the Port de Plaisance wharf next to Jacque Cartier Park in Gatineau to board and disembark passengers.
Summer 2022 — The Everly successfully passed a Transport Canada Marine Safety Inspector's technical review, and earned the lauded Blue Decal, certifying the yacht was fully compliant with safety regulations.
Summer 2023 — We added a new, massive 18'x 6' water mat that can be used during 3-hour and 4-hour private charters.
