SAFETY

→ Responsible drinking is a must for everyone’s safety
→ Ottawa Yacht provides a safety briefing before each cruise
→ Yachts are fully equipped to ensure everyone’s safety: First Aid Kit, Epi-pens,
     Defibrillator, certified state-of-the-art fire detection & suppression equipment 
→ Yachts have a life vest for every passenger and crew member
→ Life jackets must be worn when any member of the crew deems it necessary
→ Emergencies on yacht must be reported to crew immediately
→ Crew instructions must be followed at all times
→ Smoking, vaping, and consumption of drugs on board are strictly forbidden
→ Only 1 passenger at a time is permitted into the cabin to use the washroom
→ Yachts are regularly sanitized between cruises
→ Yacht crew & restaurant staff regularly wash their hands
→ Contactless payments are accepted

DRINKS

occur, without refund: harassment of crew, any violence, failing to
     adhere to 
crew instructions, drunkenness, illicit activity, intentionally throwing
     any garbage overboard

→ If weather is unfavorable, a cruise may be altered, modified, rescheduled, or
     refunded, at our discretion

SAFETY

→ Responsible drinking is a must for safety
→ Ottawa Yacht provides a safety briefing
     before each cruise
→ Yachts are fully equipped to ensure
     everyone’s safety: First Aid Kit, Epi-pens,
     defibrillator, certified state-of-the-art fire
     detection & suppression 
equipment 
→ Yachts have a life vest for every passenger
      and crew

→ Life jackets must be worn when any
     member of the crew 
deems it necessary
→ Emergencies on yacht must be reported to 
     crew 
immediately
→ Crew instructions must be followed at all
     times
→ Smoking, vaping, and consumption of drugs
     
on board are strictly forbidden
→ Only 1 passenger at a time is permitted into
     the cabin to use the washroom

→ Yachts are regularly sanitized between
     cruises

DRINKS

→ You may not bring any drink on board,
     except gifted alcohol, which cannot be
     served and will be stored in the cabin until
     the end of the excursion

2.5 & 3 HR ITINERARIES

1. PRE-DEPARTURE
→ Travelers choose meals & indicate any
     allergies or assistance needs

2. TRAVEL TO DESTINATION 
→ Access free, massive, public parking
→ Split into Group 1 (yacht cruise) &
     Group 2 (restaurant dining)
→ Group 1 limit is 24 people, divided into two
     smaller groups per yacht (limit is 12
     pple/yacht)
→ Group 2 can exceed 24 people

3.  ARRIVAL & DISEMBARKATION
     (15 minutes)
→ Park, passengers walk 140 meters to Pirate
     Restaurant & Marina

4. BOARDING & SEATING 
     (15 minutes)
→ Group 1 boards yachts, assisted by crews
→ Group 2 directed to restaurant seating

5. 1ST DINE & YACHT ACTIVITY 
     (45 minutes • 2.5-hr itinerary)
     (60 minutes • 3-hr itinerary)
→ Group 1 enjoys cruising while Group 2 dines
     on the restaurant terrace
→ Food and Drinks served

6. INTERMISSION & RE-BOARDING 
     (15 minutes)
→ Group 1 transitions to restaurant dining
→ Group 2 boards yachts

7. 2ND DINE & YACHT ACTIVITY

CHECK IN & BOARDING

→ Every passenger must digitally check in
     (valid government- issued photo ID required),
     before 
stepping onto marina docks and
     boarding a yacht
 Arrive at least 15-20 minutes early
→ Wait on sidewalk until greeted by crew
→ Only crew may open the marina gate
→ Before walking through the marina gate, 
      put phones & keys in a pocket or bag
→ Crew escort passengers on docks
→ Crew help passengers board & disembark

→ Gratuity is customary at the restaurant and
     on yachts and 
should be regarded as a

→ A cleanup fee may be charged if excessive

CANCELLATION

IF YOU CANCEL

If you purchased trip protection

→ 24 or more, full refund, less cost of
     trip protection and booking fee

If you did not purchase trip protection 

→ More than 73 hours before: full refund
→ 48 to 72 hours before: credit (same year)
→ 47 hours or less before: no refund or credit
→ Late or no show: no refund, no credit

IF WE CANCEL

→ Ottawa Yacht crew are instructed to
     immediately end a cruise if any of the
     following 
occur, without refund: harassment
     of 
crew, any violence, failing to adhere to
     crew instructions, drunkenness, illicit
     activity, 
intentionally throwing any garbage
     overboard

→ If weather is unfavorable, a cruise may
     be altered, modified, rescheduled, or
     refunded, at our discretion
